Updation for the nation

So I'm a bad person
I promised the lovely Jo I would update the other day yet I got really tired so chose bed instead
HOWEVER HERE I AM :)

Few things to mention really..
1) I just re-discovered my advent calender! HELLO eating 20 small chocolates in one night ;) I may do this every year, just wait for my room to get REALLY messy then do a mass tidy and get pleasantly suprised along the way..

2) I went to see AVATAR with the family today! It was so so so good, I even cried a little during the sad part; luckily the 3D glasses hid that. I think all films should be in 3D, it's so bloody fun! But yeah, if you're reading this and you haven't seen it, then quick go book tickets now :)

3) I WENT TO A JIVE CLASS it was so fun! My mission for 2010 is to be a jive QUEEN, some of the people there were amazzzzzing at it...then again anyone would look amazing at it next to our group thrashing limbs around. There was also an Elvis impersonator, he was actually quite impressive yet it was hideously embarressing when he decided to sit down next to me and sing "are you lonesome tonight" into my eyes. He even asked my name at the beginning in his Elvis accent however I was trying so hard not to blush that I forgot to listen and and to say "Sorry, what did you say?" into the microphone infront of a hall full of people. OOOPS aahaha

4) This is when it gets sad..
I'm home alone on Christmas Eve. Friends are with their families, Carlos is at ZENS BOI, Rhys is in a pub in a location I'm not aware of, Bradley is in the basement of a club in Australia and my parents are next door having drinks. I think the saddest thing is I'm actually drinking too, alone. Isn't this how addictions start? Oh dear.

On that comforting note, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas :)

I've always wanted to have that as a facebook status, but it's one of those things that I know only I find amusing.
So, first day of the advent calander today, mine's a winnie the pooh one this year. Cute however there is no picture on the door! Ridiculous! I complained to the mothership about it but that just spurred her on to a massive speech about how in her day advent calanders were only pictures and the excitement lay in whether you would get a picture of a robin or a tree, not any of this chocoloate business...I think I'll stick to my picture-less chocolate thanks ;)
In other news, Rhys is looking better!

He is still in alot of pain but the half a tonne of medication seems to be working its magic. He played me some new songs of his he will be playing at acoustic night and BLOODY HELL they are brilliant! He has always been stunning at the guitar and really good with lyrics but I always felt his voice held him back ever so slightly. Well, not any more! His voice is so so good now! I wouldn't let him stop playing. Well, until it was time for is 7pm meds.

It could have been worse

Today my brother was sent into hospital for an emergancy operation, was quite the shock .
My Dad came in my room in the morning when I was getting ready for school and told me he was driving down to Lincoln because Rhys was going to the hospital. It was quite silly though, because it was obvious he had been crying but then attempted to assure me it was nothing serious. Anyway, I wanted to go with him but he said there was no point, so I attempted to go to school and carry on my day as normal which was of course pointless as I couldn't concentrate on anything.
However, everything now seems to be fine. He is coming back to stay here for a few days, and has to go back to hospital in a weeks time. It will be good to have him home again, even if it does mean that I have to sleep in the single bed once more.
Although, on the plus side I do get someone to open my advent calander with again :) I miss being a kid and sitting on the kitchen floor with my brothers comparing chocolate shapes.

I will not use twitter

I'm only really writing blogs because I saw Jo's and got jealous, and because my dashing friend Christopher wanted a mention.
Also because I need to write a substantial amount in order to prove that twitter is simply too shallow for me
;)
Today has been spent sitting on my bed convincing myself that if I hold a fine liner in my favourite colour, I'll be motivated to actually revise. Also I have fallen mildly in love with John Mayer's voice, finally recieved an apology and eaten more roast dinner & apple pie then you could ever imagine.
All in all, a success.
